Spirit League Fire Day !

This Sunday (2/28/10) is Spirit League Fire Day ! Thanks to the efforts of our Athletic Director Chuck Simon and parent Mark Danielson (His son Aaron plays basketball U13), we will have a visit from one of our local fire departments Not only will there be a truck at the YMCA for the kids to tour but four fire cadets will be refereeing our games that day.

The truck will be outside the YMCA from 10:30 am to 4 pm. All team players are encouraged to arrive a half hour before they start to play to look at the truck and talk with the fire fighters. Mark will also have goody bags (80 – 100) for all players once they are finished playing their game. Bill Bermingham is also working on arranging coverage for this event from the OC Register..this is a great way to promote Spirit League so we would like to really encourage attendance by all!!!!
