It’s Going to be Big!

10 fair balls – every athlete – every game. That’s what each athlete will experience at the upcoming 4th Annual Hit-a-thon on May 11 at Oso Fields. Spirit League hopes to raise $10,000 for equipment, scholarships and other expenses as the crowd cheers when each athlete takes the plate and stays at bat until they hit 10 fair balls. Biggest Weekend of the Season!

Don’t miss this weekend – the biggest weekend of the basketball season! On February 2 and 3, let’s pack the bleachers with friends and family to cheer on our athletes. 5K Fun Run? Let’s Do It!

This is a first for Spirit League! We’re going to run for fun in the Oso Fit Fun Run 5K on Saturday, February 23 in Mission Viejo (right by our soccer/baseball fields). All families are invited to join us for a morning of walking together; sharing the mission of Spirit League with the many participants. Plus, enjoy the Community Fair after the 5K. The Soccer 2018 Pack the Fields Day is less than two weeks away on October 13. Invite your friends, family, neighbors, teachers and whoever will cheer loudly for your athlete as we wave team and athlete signs of encouragement. Safe Sport Act Prompts Changes for Youth Sports Leagues

The recently passed Safe Sport Act mandates a new standard of care for all organizations and individuals involved in youth sports; regardless of the size of the organization. To ensure compliance with this Act, Spirit League is currently updating their volunteer approval and training process to include a multi-level approach. For volunteers 18 years and older, changes will include: Abuse prevention training, Mandatory reporting training, and Background checks.
