Safe Sport Act Prompts Changes for Youth Sports Leagues

The recently passed Safe Sport Act mandates a new standard of care for all organizations and individuals involved in youth sports; regardless of the size of the organization. To ensure compliance with this Act, Spirit League is currently updating their volunteer approval and training process to include a multi-level approach. For volunteers 18 years and older, changes will include: Abuse prevention training, Mandatory reporting training, and Background checks. Breaking a Sweat for Spirit League

Just a few weeks ago, Spirit League families took on the San Diego Rock’n’Roll Marathon; breaking a sweat to raise money for the League.
