Baseball

Baseball is an incredible team sport to practice critical life skills including verbal directions, positions on the field (aka their job description) and waiting (skills adults practice daily).

Our baseball curriculum focuses on three fundamental skills including throwing, fielding and batting. From week one, athletes will be taught the correct position for throwing and fielding. Over the next few weeks, those skills will be advanced to include fielding ground balls (stationary and moving) and catching fly balls with proper glove positioning. Teams will practice batting with coach pitching, hit sticks and/or tees, depending on the age division. Proper hand positioning while batting in addition to body stance will be taught.
